5 reasons businesses need to build an online presence now and how payever shop helps

Over the past few decades, we have witnessed how the business landscape has changed tremendously, pushing them to embrace a whole level of operations, existence, and interaction with audiences. This transformation is triggered by the arrival of the digital world, causing businesses to adapt how they operate.

Years ago, physical stores were the central focus of building customer experience. However, industry changes have driven customers to head straight to browsers and interact with brands online.

Therefore, businesses  must create a place for them in the digital world. Establishing an online presence is a necessity nowadays to keep businesses afloat and paves the way to scalability, growth, and success.

The importance of online presence for today’s businesses

A study by PEW Research Center reported that 76% of adults have purchased products and services via mobile. That data reflected the everyday occurrences in today’s customer behavior, where people spend more time on their mobile devices for shopping, communicating, reading, working, or studying.

Given that customers are at the center of any business, companies need to make their digital presence an integral part and ensure customers find the companies online. Digital presence affects business operations, including marketing and sales, such as building a webshop and selling online.

There are many advantages businesses can benefit from by establishing and maintaining an online presence, including:

5.

 Improve customer support experience.

Additionally, a website helps businesses grant opportunities to further scale and upgrade not only product portfolios but also customer support by providing quick access to the team and ensuring the service SLA is met consistently.

1.

Access to broader customer bases.

A website or application represents  a company’s online presence. It gives potential audiences plenty of opportunities to discover and interact with businesses anytime and anywhere.

2.

Build relationships and nurture engagement with customers.

An online presence fuels interactions and builds relationships between businesses and customers. Website dynamics enable customers to engage with the company’s content regarding listed products and/or services. Businesses can enhance the website with interactive content, videos, or images to showcase their catalogs and establish trust.

3.

Create a seamless transaction experience.

Online platforms elevate payment and delivery experiences to a new level compared to traditional brick-and-mortar commerce. By establishing an online presence, businesses can enhance shopping convenience, security, and flexibility, allowing customers to purchase items and services with their preferred payment methods and delivery options.

4.

Make the business stand out in the market.

An online presence can help businesses win a spot among competitors by increasing the visibility and reaching a wider audience base. It provides them with the foundation for greater business growth.

You can also change the preview buttons at the bottom to see how the page looks on desktop, tablet, and mobile (smartphone). With a responsive web design, you can improve the page’s loading time, SEO, and overall UX.

Go to the Settings page from the left sidebar for more setting options, including changing your webshop’s domain name or connecting it with an existing domain you own.

Adjust your webshop’s preview from Settings > Social sharing image. This customization allows you to choose the image, page title, and meta description that will appear when your shop’s link is pasted to a messaging app or social media platform.
